What is RT-PCR / ATK ?
Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction or RT-PCR COVID-19 Testing Service
An International Standard (Gold Standard) method for direct detection of COVID-19 by examining the viral RNA genetic materials. Suitable for early diagnosis and can be used for follow-up treatment.
COVID-19 testing service by Rapid Antigen Test or ATK
The Rapid Antigen Test, a testing technique similar to the RT-PCR, involves swabbing the nasal cavity or throat and then using a testing solution to detect the positive infection, suitable for the initial screening only. The advantage is that it is easy to use, convenient, and fast. The results can be visible within 15 – 30 minutes. However, the disadvantage is that the technique is not suitable for diagnosis because the ATK test kit cannot detect a small amount of the corona virus.

COVID-19 ANTIGENS TEST WITH A TEST KIT ON-SITE TEST WITH ANTIGEN TEST KIT
Package details
- The test can be done 5-7 days after noticeable symptoms appear or have been infected for 10-14 days for accurate results. If the virus is less present, it may not be detected.
- COVID-19 testing service, using Antigen Test Kit (ATK), is for preliminary screening only. Suitable for those who suspect that the infection is just asymptomatic.
- Service time is approximately 3-5 minutes per person.
- Suitable for all ages. For children, it requires parents to closely supervise.
- Sample will be acquired from the nasal cavity swabbing.
- The result takes about 30 minutes to proceed, depending on the number of people in the queue.
- People who are at risk or have symptoms of infection can request for the services with advance notice.

However, the treatment in the hospital or doing hotel isolation cannot be guaranteed due to current circumstances.
- A receipt/tax invoice can be requested by prior notice at the time of booking and will be sent via email only.
- Foreign nationals can obtain the service by presenting the government issued document such as a passport or foreigner card.

- Sample will be acquired from the nasal cavity and throat swabbing.’
- Results may take longer than 24-48 hours (from the time the specimen arrives at the lab, not the time taking in testing) depends on the number of patients. It will talk longer if the test needs to be repeated.
- People who are at risk or have symptoms of infection can request for the services with advance notice.
- The test results of the examination and medical certificate will be sent via email with a service charge. For original document, it is available to pick up at the clinic or have ReadyCheckGo call a parcel courier for cash on delivery.
